PCD @ Coimbra (Portugal) had its 4th edition this year. Our event took place in March and we now have an ongoing exhibition with the works that were accepted to the edition open call. This year, the event took place March 4 and March 11. It had two keynotes (Lena Weber, Lisa Moura), Short presentations, 1 workshop (Designing Generative Kinetic Cards) and two exhibitions.

New Neighbors: Creator Community Day 活動副標：創作中的鄰近關係 主辦單位：SpOnAcT! X Processing Community Day Taiwan 時間：7/1/2026-7/15/2026 地點：臺灣北部地區，視活動場地而定 (B) 活動宗旨 鄰居不只帶有地理位置上的相近，更帶有敦親睦鄰、關懷與支持之意。平行的、相近的存在，每種鄰近性都有各自產生互動的方式與程度。可以是親密的家常對話、可以是習慣的磨合、也可以是相互認可的君子之交。然而，在我們工作的領域中，這些「鄰居」往往是隱形的。我們一起為相似的社群耕耘著，卻可能不曾相識。這次活動提供了一個機會：讓大家認識到同在一個社群的「鄰居」，透過合作、共同創作與討論，發展屬於自己與鄰居之間的語言，探索未來協作的可能。 《New Neighbors》是一場關於「協作如何發生」的實驗性聚會，由 SpOnAcT! 發起，《新鄰居》邀請藝術家、設計師、人文工作者、研究者、教育者與開源社群共同聚集，透過分享、工作坊、出版、遊戲、閱讀與共創等形式，重新思考「個體與集體」之間的關係。 以「鄰近性（proximity）」作為核心概念：我們相信，人與人之間的並列、相遇與協作，不一定建立在完全相同的背景與立場上，而是在差異之中逐漸形成新的關係、新的理解與新的支持系統。 《New Neighbors》關注的是：合作如何開始？關係如何被維持？情緒勞動與照顧如何被看見？創作者如何在集體中保有個體性？除了市場與競爭之外，是否存在另一種資源流動與工作方式？ 以「開源精神（Open Source）」為行動原則：不只開放技術，也開放方法、架構、知識、生產過程與社群關係，我們希望透過本活動建立一種新的集體文化聚集模式：讓不同背景的創作者、教育者與工作者，在共享與並列之中形成新的「鄰近關係」。 活動主題將以合作科技、團結經濟、關懷網絡為核心，並且透過創作工作坊、集體身體遊戲、組織知識討論會、Live Coding等活動形式一同探索以下主題：協作與集體工作、開源文化與共享知識、團結經濟與合作社營運、教育與共學、公共資源與地方連結等。

Overview New Media Art Club is hosting a Processing Community Day meet up in Leicester. Join us at LCB Depot, 30th October 2-5pm. Processing is a friendly tool for learning to code and make art. P5 is its free and open-source JavaScript library built by an inclusive, nurturing community. It is for artists, designers, beginners, educators, and anyone else! We will be recording/documenting the session in some way to share back with the global Processing Community. We will meet in the Print Room 2pm-5pm at [LCB Depot] P5 Book Club Using the book Aesthetic Programming https://aesthetic-programming.net/ as a starting point we will discuss the idea that digital technologies and even programming are not neutral and that building computer programmes can be critical and cultural practice.
